Worked for the U.S. forest service as a firefighter after highschool. Got drafted 1n 69 and did a tour in Vietnam. After the army,I went back to the Forest Service as a firefighter and the moved to Alaska working for the forest service as firefighter, maintenance mechanic and heavy equipment operator. Craters of the Moon National monument in Idaho, Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado,Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Joshua Tree National Park in California, and retired from Olympic National Park in Washington in 1999 as Utility foreman. I went back to work after only 30 days. Retired again 1 year ago as water treatment plant supervisor for the city of Ilwaco washington.
