Dav's Story
My life took an entirely different direction than my dreams. Now, I wouldn't change most of my life for the world. I didn't ask much from life when I when I was young. While everyone around me seemed to dream big, wanted to go off to college (and had the means), make it big, etc, my desires for the future were weird...just like everyone in school perceived me. From about the age of about ten, I wanted to marry and have children...preferably in Chuck Town. That's all. ...Expand for more
I loved God, and I loved Charles City...although CC didn't ever give me much except non-acceptance. I'm still without my earlier dream, but life and God have forced me to learn lessons I never would have learned had I received all I wanted out of life as some have. I thank God for unfulfilled dreams and the health He has given me. Also the travel experiences others have not been privileged to experience. The Master of the universe knows what He is doing. I rest in that.
