Anthony's Story
After high school I went to SBCC for a few years - then decided to just work full time because being poor and mooching off someone else sucks.
Worked for Cingular Wireless for a couple years and eventually was managing the store on Calle Real. After that, got hired at Fidelity National Insurance Services working as a customer service rep., which was be far the most annoying job i have had to this day. Dealing with people face to face in a retail store i can handle - but when it comes down to their home and auto policies, dear lord kill me now. After a year i had to quit sinc...Expand for more
e i was unable to obtain my insurance license (which is a really hard test btw >.<)
Currently i am working for a company in Goleta called ConMed Linvatec doing inventory control - the company it self manufactures HD cameras that are used in operating rooms and doctors office, as well as camera controllers, light source devices and we also distribute Surgical quality HD flat screen monitors and Sony HD printers. Really loving my current job, the people i work with are great and i dont' find myself calling in sick to get out of work all the time....two thumbs up in my opinion.
