Dave's Story

Dave is from Lexington, Missouri. Dave's schools include Exeter High School in Calif., Lexington High School. Dave later attended Pierce College Puyallup in Washington. Dave was in the USMC from April 1964 through April 1968 and worked in Aviation Electronics. Dave entered the USAF in 1969 and Retired from the USAF in 1988 and worked as a Loadmaster (weight and balance specialist) on cargo and passenger aircraft for 9 years, then as a Medical Tech for 10 years. Dave worked with the US Postal Service from 1990 till 2007, worked as a Mail Carrier and Maintenance Operations. Music Dave likes includes Anything but Rap, Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, Books Dave likes include True History. Movies Dave likes include Action and Comedy. TV shows Dave likes include History. ed from Lexington High School in Missouri. Graduated from Pierce College in Lakewood, Wa. Married November 1966 to Toshiko Azama from Okinawa. Have 3 daughters, 9 grandkids and 2 great grandkids with more to come. I Belong to 2 Okinawa musical groups. One is classical, the other is Okinawa Taiko (Drums). We perform all over Western Wa. We have opened 4 times at Safeco Field, the home of the Seattle Mariners. I spend lots of time watching my grandkids play all types of sports, and other school functions. at this time Amanda has graduated from college in Calif. and teaches Middle School Special Education. Triston is in his second year at Northern Michigan University on a Soccer Scholarship majoring in Athletic Training. Linda is in school in Fresno, Ca. training as a Physical Therapist. We travel to Okinawa, Japan every couple of years to visit Toshiko's family.

Had one of my favorite desserts today.  This is shaved ice with red beans on the bottom,  topped with macha flavoring.  On the side is mochi balls and whipped cream.  Not a lot of calories or carbs.

Fun filled day of sports.  Our Grandson Ty took 1st place in a multi High school wrestling Tournament.   He was seeded 3rd in the 132# wt class.  He then pinned 3 of the 4 opponents he faced, the 1st & 2nd seeded wrestlers
