Dave's Story
Life
Although I did not Graduate with the Class of '73', I did go through Elementary School, Junior High, and 10th Grade with a lot of you who did. Only keeping in touch with a few friends from Edmonds, I was curious what others were doing and saw this site. Moving from Edmonds in the summer of '71' to Oregon was a big change and helped me crack down on studying. In 1977 I married my wife who I met in '69' while on a family vacation at the Oregon coast. We have 2 children, Chris 18 and Rachael 15. Chris has just started College and Rachael is in 10th grade. This year will be very busy since Rachael made it on her High School dance Team. llis is working on one of the worlds biggest Wastewater Treatment Plants located in Singapore. I am involved in creating a totally smart (database driven) 3D model of the entire Plant where through the internet and computer, you simply have to touch areas on the computer screen and a program will show and tell anyone everything they may need to know how to build it. It's a new concept (in the construction/Engineering field for our company) and we are under a Microscope since this techknowledge is very new. We all are keeping our fingers crossed.
Well things do changed, June 29th I am leaving for Singapore to help the Electrical Modeling effort over there. I will be staying for 3 months and trying to get the family to come over in August for 12 days. Hopefully there is fun times ahead and not all work.
