Dave's Story
After doing environental risk assessment in Gainesville, Florida for over 15 years, I got tired of the 8 to 5 mentality. So, I quit my job at the end of January 2005, sold my house, and moved to Las Vegas, where I lived for 1.5 years. I finished school to be a poker dealer in April 2005, but after playing poker all over town, I realized that dealing wouldn't be for me. I still enjoy playing poker on SpadeClub and PokerStars and in casinos, but I've cut back my live play to about once every couple of months. You will never see me on the World Series of Poker or World Poker Tour, but so far, downsizing my life seems to have been the right decision.
