Born Chicago Ill. in Jan 1947 Dozens of schools 1st thru 10th grade, as my Step Father was a Air Force Officer and we traveled both the United States and the World. A few of the places i lived as a military dependent. France, Germany, Spain, and about two dozen diffrent state-side bases from Florida to California, and Texas to Montana. I always called and considered a small town name 'Ripley' in West Tennessee, as my home. Its located about 50 miles north of Memphis. And was the home of my Grandparents and Stepfathers family. Its also the only place i ever attended school at the same place for more than two years at one time. I graduated from Ripley High in 1967. I joined the Air Force that same year looking to become a Cop. At that time the Air Force offered great Law Enforcement training. -- I had no plans to stay the almost 14 years i did however--lol. The training and the fact i was classified 1A for the draft, with Vietnam calling my name loud and clear--- was really not much diffrent than the choice all young men of that era faced after high school.
