Dave's Story
After graduating from USC, I went into teaching and coaching. I taught high school business and math for four years and taught English for the next 31, mostly freshmen. Up until I was assigned to teach English, I had never imagined myself in that role, but it ended up to be near perfect. I retired in 2008, and it is perfect.

all teach and live in the area, so we see at least one of them just about everyday. We have two grandsons whom we babysit three days a week and have two more grandchildren on the way.
I still see some of my friends from high school regularly: Scott Pickler, Jim Hemsley, Dale Devitt, and Ron Fitzgerald. Jim, Dale, and I all married girls who went to school together at Mater Dei. I also try to stay in contact with Gary Blate.
