Dave's Story
Thirty years? No way.
For most of my time since graduation, I've lived in Colorado, with brief stints in Nebraska. I graduated from Hastings College with bachelors degrees in political science and communications and from the University of Colorado with a master's in public administration.
I've been married for 26 years and have two daughters, both in college (21 and 19 years old). I'm a lobbyist! I'm the Federal Government Relations Manager for Colorado's second biggest electric utility. I spend almost as much time in DC as I do in Colorado.

olorado native, and I live in a small town near Boulder. My office is in Denver -- 40 minutes on an average day. Our daughters are in college; one a senior at American University in DC and the youngest a sophomore at Metro State in Denver.
When I'm not hanging out with politicians and trying to get them to vote my way, I love to sail (I have a 23-foot sailboat on a nearby lake and have sailed extensively in the Caribbean), play golf, hike and walk with the two dogs, read, watch sports and listen to music.
As Joe Walsh would say, "I'm an ordinary average guy."
