Dave's Story
Life
Back in 1967 I was on the reunion planning committee with Eva Jo, Jon, Charlotte, and others. But before I could attend the reunion, I started my odyssey.
That August I moved to Washington, D.C. From there I went to Albany, NY; Columbus, OH; back to DC; Ft. Collins, CO; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; back to Ft. Collins, CO. And that spans 30+ years.
I live in Fort Collins and work for IBM in Boulder as a network consultant. Update on work: I left IBM after nearly 10 years and now work for JPMorgan Chase as a network engineer. And now I'm back at IBM!
Ronna and I have been married for 33 years this July. We have a son, Joshua who recently married and is working for Maxtor. Our daughter, Katy is a grad student at Boston University. I'm still interested in math -- I mentor a 4th grade class. Oh, and I remember standing at the blackboard in Ms. Cordes class trying to beat Eva Jo to get the right answer. Wow! Another old neuron fired -- I remember my first dance at the McElroy Dagg(?) gym; dancing, sort of, with Eva Jo to Jim Lowe's "Green Door" (of course I don't know what I had for breakfast this morning ;-)
Still play the drums or at least make a lot of noise.
Well, that's it in a nutshell.
Now married 49 years. 2 great kids, proud of what they've become and done.
Retired from IBM. Lasted 2 years and went back to work providing support to Liberty Common High School. We've downsized to a 2BR apartment in Fort Collins. Enjoying life and fondly remember those NKC years. Hope all are safe and well.
