Dave's Story
Life
Alot has happened since H.S. Heck, alot has happened since the 15th reunion! In the last 5 years I have gotten divorced, remarried, added 4 more children to the 5 I already had (don't worry, it's blended), went to work for a new company, have been in several local bands, started building websites professionaly, and had a hernia operation (you probably didn't need the visual on that one). I probably got the hernia from lifting those stupid Tri-toms my Sophomore and Junior years!
I live and work in St. Louis, MO and have been here since 1982. After graduation I attended the UMKC Conservatory of Music for a couple of years and then moved on to more technical things. Something inside me must have said "you're going to have lots of kids, so you're going to need a good career and lots of money". Well I got the good career, but I still have yet to find all of this money!
I floundered around in electronics for a few years until 1984 when I started a degree in Data Processing/Programming. 22 year...Expand for more
s later I have had a myriad of different IT jobs and now I have a position with a great company as a Senior Systems Engineer, designing and supporting electronic messaging systems. That's a $100 version of saying that I'm really just an email geek.
I'm the keyboardist in a successful dance band called Boogie Chyld that plays every weekend in and around St. Louis. We play alot of that stuff we were listening to back in 1977/78 (don't say the 'D' word). But also alot of Funk and Rock. It's really a great sound. If you're ever in STL, check us out. My kids range in age from 7 to 18. 5 of them are teenagers (just shoot me now). I have a pair of identical twins in the mix and also an adopted boy. 7 boys and 2 girls. You can see them all at markivee. com (remove space).
That's pretty much it for me. My life is anything but boring. There's always some sort of drama going on.
Oh yeah, the pets. 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bunch of fish.
