Life: I live in the desert. I have lived in a lot of deserts. Sometimes it seems That it all has been one big desert, but I have really lived life right to the edge - and I am content where things have taken me. We all live and don't often recognize how our daily moments are so perfect - even when they are difficult and painful. I have measured each grain of sand in the desert of my days - and will try to continue to do so for as long as I have left. I am a father, husband, son, reporter, an editor, an artist, an author, a teacher, a woodworker, a knifemaker, an old soldier, a student, and a priest. I have been to some of the most terrible places on Earth - and seen and experienced some of the most beautiful things. I hope this finds whoever reads this, in good spirits and good health. I hope you have all found whatever it was you sought in the beginning - or something better.
