Dave's Story
After graduating REHS, attended Illinois Institute of Technology, getting my B.S./Math in '73. Accepted as a grad student, but money ran out after first year-'74. No interesting jobs available then, so I went the blue-collar route (as did a lot of guys I met later). Started in 1974 working for a messenger company; in 1997 left with a partner and formed our own expedited trucking company, which we closed in 2009. to one). Started back to school in 2003 at Chicago Circle (now called UIC), when business got slow. Got my M.S. in Math, and PhD in 2018.
Lots of "stuff", but most of it's probably pretty generic (the 80s, for instance). Looking forward to meeting my fellow-survivors, and catching up on life stories. Had a great time at our 40th joint (69-70) reunion.
Really enjoyed the 50th too (2019), but am sad that REHS is no more.
