Dave's Story
Upon graduation from Lincoln High School, I attended SDSU for my BS (Microbiology and Chemistry) and MS (Botany) and the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) for my PhD (Genetics). I worked for the University of Illinois (Post Doc), Plant Biotechnology Institute (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan--Canada), Pioneer Hi-Bred (Des Moines), Monsanto (Saint Louis) and Cibus (San Diego, which is where I currently live). shed by Springer (Germany) on Biofuels (which was also reprinted in Chinese) and Sustainable Agriculture. I currently serve on the boards of two non-profit organizations: Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) and the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST). One of the "perks" in moving to San Diego, aside from the beaches and nearly perfect weather, is reconnecting with Mark and Debbie Neuberger who live in Encinitis.
