Dave's Story
Life
I left the state of Washington in 1964 and took a bus here to Illinois. I got here Jan. 1,1965. I got married in 1965 and had 4 girls,and in 1978 Adopted a set of twis(boy and a girl) I had one set of twin girls already. I was married for 33 years and divorced her due to her alcohol addiction which she couldn't gain control of. Met my wife Deb in 1997 and we got married in 1998. We had a daughter in 2000. She'll be seven tomrrow Feb. 1st. I was 52 when she was born so it's like having a grandkid that don't go home! She's the light of my life tho'! sor the last 3 years there and a mental health technician all the years prior. Not real sure just yet what direction I'm headed a the present time, but I will be doing something to keep busy. I also own a small restuarant in Chadwick, Il., but right now trying to decide if I'm going to keep it or sell it. My wife is still working, she's a Mental Health Tech. at the same facility I was at. She's been there for 18 years. I really don't know what all to write in this. I do have 20 grandkids. Winters in Illinois suck-too cold I'd rather live in a warm climate, but I guess I'm not smart enough to move. So until I smarten up I guess I'll have to shiver every winter!!!
