Dave's Story
Thinking I should get off the dime and say something, here goes.
After HS I joined the Navy with a friend from Camas Valley. That was in 1960 with discharge in 63. We all found Vietnam heating up so I re-enlisted for the 65-67 tour. rk and will probably die doing something in this field.
I married Joyce Larson, a 1963 graduate of Roseburg HS in 1966. I lost her in December 2007 (after 41 years) to the effects of 30 years of diabetes. I also, have all the things Joyce had (one day, I too will . . . .). We have two grown daughters and two granddaughters. One
g-daughter has a syndrome called CIDP (you can Google it). We all are doing well and live in Vancouver, WA.
I find Vancouver an excellent place to be. I dont think I will be leaving my home here any time soon. I welcome all visitors and enjoy eating out (I never really learned how to cook and, I really dont anticipate learning much of it any time soon).
I dont know much about the formats this site uses and prefer to communicate via regular email.
