Dave's Story

Wow...Many of years have gone by with lots of changes, challenges and personal growth...up and down.. I have been married for almost 28 years now with two grown, beautiful young women. They make me proud. I am retired now...a little over two years ago. I spent about 35 years with several fire agencies. The last one being Contra Costa County Fire....east bay area. I wish I could have stayed a little longer but I got hurt on the job and realizing thats it is a young mans job...I decided it was time to go. Now I do honey dos and projects that involve building things. ...Expand for more
I started a business about three years ago and bought a summer home in trinity county. I am a fly fishing guide now and spend a great deal of time battling the ever elusive steelhead. It just doesn't get any better. I do have to thank my wonderful wife for her patience and understanding while I am gone for close to five months during fishing season. Maybe thats why our relationship is so good!! I hope all of you who read this are doing well and are healthy. I know our 40th is coming up and I plan on being there. Hope to see you there. Peace to you. Dave Morton
