Dave's Story
Dave grew up in the Knoxville area, having graduated from Webb School in 1986 and the University of Tennessee ('91) with BAs in philosophy and English literature. Shortly thereafter he attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, and graduated with an MDiv in May of 1995. He then served as a short term missionary lecturing in New Testament and philosophy at the Bible Institute of South Africa located in Cape Town's southern suburbs. completing a pastoral internship with Westminster Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Kingsport, TN Dave and his family moved to Knoxville where he pastors St. Paul Presbyterian Church (RPCGA). Dave and Helen have been blessed with 15 years of marriage and four faithful children: Sarah, Emma, Molly and Jonathan. When not wearing his pastoral hat, Dave is a distance runner, avid model railroader and amateur machinist.
