Life
This is an update to my Bio now that we have lived in Alaska for 27 years. My bride, Dr. Kimberly Aragon-Stewart continues to teach spanish at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Our oldest, Alicia, wanted to experience the crowds and heat of the lower 48 so moved to Santa Cruz, Kalifornia, and continues to teach Taekwon-do and fight. Matt also wanted to experience the crowds and heat of the lower 48 so moved to Florida with his wife and son. The youngest, Josey, so far has remained in North Pole with wife and two children. He works with me at the Fort Knox gold mine as a mill control room operator. I work in the pit operating the giant ore haulers and rock drills.
For fun and giggles I spend my summers on the rivers and creeks with a gold dredge or riding my bike. Winters are spent working at ...Expand for more
the gold mine which never shuts down. Cold winter nights are best spent with a fire in the wood stove and a good book. Kim and I travel in the winter also as it is usually a treat to go to some warmer clime.
Kim takes college students on world tours each spring break and anyone is welcome to join us. You get good bang for the buck on a college tour. I usually ditch the tour groups in each city we visit to go find custom bike shops to trade t shirts and other paraphernalia. If anyone wishes to join us or would like to go out gold prospecting with me please feel free to email me at stewart.davidgstewart (at) gmail.com Jeff Collett came up for a visit and never left. He's a gold miner now also. Write to me if you're between jobs also as the Fort Knox mine is growing as is all gold mining up here.
