Dave's Story
It's been many, many years ... yet sometimes it seems like such a small world. Just when you think you have lost touch with everyone from the past, someone shows up you knew 30 years ago!
Life certainly has had its challenges ... some for the good, and some not so good. All in all though, we have to be happy with what we have been dealt in life, and go on from there. I think the more live experiences we have been subjected to, the more we realize that most times less is more.
Life has been good to me as far as my children are concerned. I am the proud father of 3 wonderful kids, and now two very special grand kids. My kids are kind of spread out a little, with a daughter who is 32, a son 17, and another daughter who is 15 (and boy crazy). Having been a single parent most of my life, the experience has taught me tons about family, and how important it is. I honestly don't think I would have had a very happy life if I had not had any children ... though having them can be very challenging on your nerves most of the time!

roach life each day. Now working with a school corporation here in Indiana, driving a school bus each day, I realize just how important it is in life to be involved in the daily routines and lives of all the kids. It is so much more rewarding then most people could ever imagine ... and I finally have a career that I can really say I love.
I would have to say that I didn't have a lot of friends back in the days of NHS, as I was not only new to the area in '66 when I started high school .. I was also very shy and quiet. Oh how things have changed! I tell people now that I am shy .. and of course the answer is always the same ... You, shy? Yea right! Now they can't shut me up .. but then ... why would they! I always have something interesting to say!!! Now I can say that I have never met a stranger ... I can always make friends where ever I go.
Sure hope I run across some of my old classmates on here ... it would really be nice to catch up on how everyone is doing, and how they have done since leaving Northwest. Another couple of years (2010), and we will be having our 40th reunion! Hope to see many of you there!!!
