Hello alumni and friends. I do enjoy reminiscing about my high school years and I will try to share whats happened since then.. Not too much to say except that. it seems like a long time ago that's far away from me now. If you don't remember me, that's OK now. I wasn't there much in the afternoon hours. The last two years I was taking Drafting at Vo-Tech. I rode the bus to Central, and attended the first two hours and then was bussed to the Vo-Tech on South Memorial and then bussed back to Central, and then finally bussed home. A lot of bussing, I know! I played the saxophone, and I think I was in the marching band in my senior year? I'm not sure, its a long time ago to remember. I remember V.D. Schwing, ( The Band Director then) came to my parents house to get me to go to Central High and join the marching band. Most of my Homies know that our sports program was discontinued in junior high (Horace Mann Jr. High) because of the highway that was going to be built around Downtown. Too bad because I liked football and would have continued playing into high school. I was already accepted to go to Booker T.
