David's Story

Life Born April 18th 1967 in Miami, Florida. Grew up in Miami, Richmond Virginia, Columbus Ohio, Indiana, California, and a few others going to school in all of those places, but graduating at South Dade High School in Homestead Florida. Moved to a Texas and Washington state. Worked a number of jobs, while attending college, from assistant mananger at a fast food joint to carpenter, glazier, salesman, office manager, jobsite foreman and finally job superintendent. Not being satisified with any of them, I eventually joined the US Air Force in 1995. Over 13 years in the Air Force, I was an Air Force Police Officer, doing everything from running Bike Patrol to Investigations to Flight Supervisor, then onto Special Agent with OSI. In that time, I was married to an amazing Lady and divorced and have an even more amazing daughter. After two tours in the combat zone, I moved to the Marine Corps, to help them start a civilian police department in Hawaii. After supervising there, I found myself in Virginia as a police manager, retiring as Captain. Being disabled from my combat years, I moved onto to government contracting for a few years, and I just accepted a job as Emergency Manager at a large Navy Base up here. Always busy. I hope everyone else out there is doing as well. School Graduate South Dade High School in 1985. Went on to attend Miami-Dade Community College, then Metro Community College in Omaha, Nebraska. While overseas in the military I attended the University of Maryland, and eventually finished my Associates in Law Enforcement with the University of Maryland, my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice Administration with the University of Phoenix and later my Masters of Management with the University of Pheoenix. I have since returned to attend the fraud and environmental crimes program at the same location, prior to assuming duties as the Chief of Fraud Investigations for AFOSI in Hawaii, Wake Island, Marshall Islands, American Samoa, and Antarctica. When I am not working, which is about 20 hours out of everyday, I enjoy spending time with Alyssa and working on a book, which has become a trilogy only because I write as much as I talk.
