David's Story
Life:
I do a little bit of work to keep my mind strong, but am technically retired from the work force. I retired from Radio Shack in 2008 and before that, the USN in 1994. I have 2 wonderful children, David Jr and Kristine. Both are police officers. Kris is an officer with the Madison, Ga police departmnent. David is a Deputy in Newton County (Covington). Kris had my first and only grandson May 29, 2002. I am living in Dallas Ga just west of Marietta. I play as much golf as I can. I deep sea fish when the opportunity presents itself. I have been all over the world. I have visited or lived in 43 countries and 38 states on five continents in my lifetime. The only regret I have is getting married so early in life, but then I wouldn't have the children I have presently. So we'll put that regret on the shelf.
Workplace:
After retiring from the Navy in 1994, went to work for Radio Shack. I was a senior store manager and made the company's pretigious Leader's Club in 1998 for sales gain and sales profit for an entire year. I was one of 275 managers that made the club that year out of 6500 managers in the company. I managed stores, all in Georgia, in Douglasville, Woodstock, Kennesaw, Marietta and Rome. I retired from Radio Shack on 08/25/08.
