Survived 70s subcultures "Rock N Roll", Navy: 2 WestPacs, Began New Life in Christianity, College: B.A. Theology & Marriage (Ramona) in 80s, Seminary: M.Div., 4 children (Rachel, Andrea, David, Paul), Hospital Chaplaincy in TX Med Ctr-Meth Hosp & M D Anderson, then Dallas Parkland Hosp, then US Army Chaplain (CPT)in 90s; Battalion Chaplain HQ 1/19th IN; 317th Engineer BN, Ft. Benning, GA, next assgnmnt: Ft.Bragg, NC = Airborne! 503rd Military Police Battalion, deployed to Pentagon briefly at Ground Zero until after 10/11/01 Memorial Ceremony. rn Iraq. Few close friends, many acquaintances, many experiences, nomadic, & serving God & Country! FT Bragg since 8/06/01. Deployed to the Pentagon shortly after 9/11/01; war-time operations tempo; caught up in military life; marital problems, deployed to Iraq 4/03 to 4/04; returned from OIF I with MDD and PTSD, marital separation, life on hold, divorced in 05, PCS to Alaska 06, deploy to Iraq in 10/06, airborne unit in Baghdad. write me and say hello, I'd love to hear from you! Completed my second combat tour in Irag - Combat Action Badge, separating from Army, joining the Reserves, mid-life transitions. 2008- Joined the USAR (Reserves), Married PATTY! 2011 Selected for Promotion to Major!
