David's Story

Life Doing these things are hard but I wanted to just highlight a few notable dates from the past 25 years. 1980 - 1982 Attended Grossmont & Cuyamaca College, Graduated with an Associates in Business-1982 1982 - Married Lisa Fortin from Monte Vista HS. 1984 - Divorced (ouch!) 1982 - 1985 Attended San Diego State University, Graduated with a BS in Business Finance-1985. 1986 - 1988 Attended the MBA extension program for USC School of Business. 1985 - 1988 - Worked at General Dynamics in Kearny Mesa as a Business/Financial Analyst. 1988 - Married Jacki Bejar; she had one son, Jason - 8 years old and settled in El Cajon. We didn't have any kids of our own and are still married today. Some of you may remember meeting her at the 10 year reunion. 1988 - 1993 - Worked at Rohr in Chula Vista as a Sr. Financial Analyst and Cost Estimator. Lost my job with the Aerospace downturn in Sept 1993 and moved to Washington state. 1993 - 1998 - Lived in Cashmere, WA working at Pacific Aerospace, Inc as their Controller and later CFO. 1998 - Moved to Port Orchard, WA and took a positio...Expand for more
n with QPM Aerospace as their EVP/CFO in Seattle. 2001 - Accepted a position at Paratransit Services as their Vice President of Finance and later became the EVP of Administration. 2005 - Became President/CEO for Paratransit Services. Jacki and I have been very happy and blessed. Our son is now 26 and was in the army for almost 5 years putting in about 17 months of combat tours in Kosovo and Iraq. We're very proud of the service he performed for his country. We're also grandparents and have a wonderful 4 ½ year old grandaughter named Selena. Life keeps me very busy but I still find time for my Harley and golf. That's right, don't need much of an excuse to get on my Ultra Glide and ride; any road will do. Hitting the links once a week when the sun is out is a must. It's been great to catch up with old friends and Richard and Mike, I'm still trying to get back to San Diego for the beer we promised each other. I've only been back to SD twice in the last 12 years. Miss the family, friends, and the sun. It does come out in Seattle once in a while; just not to often.
