David's Story
Life
After I left Denton, I did my undergrad at SMU in Dallas. I went to law school at UT in Austin, and spent a year getting my Masters Degree in law in Edinburgh, Scotland. (Wonderful place, if you can ever get there.) Met my love, Ping Yang, in that program in Scotland. I came back from Scotland and got a job with the Texas Legislature for a few years after graduation from UT/Edinburgh in '96, but since Ping Yang is from Singapore, I moved to Singapore in 2000 to be with her. Now I work for a big, evil American law firm with an office here in Singapore and attempt to learn Chinese in my spare time...Expand for more
(not easy). We got married back in Austin on April 27, 2003, but we'll still be living in Singapore for a while. We plan to move back to the U.K. sometime in the next few years, or maybe back to the U.S. I do get back to Texas when I can, and I miss Tex-Mex like you wouldn't believe.
For those of you who knew 'em, my twin sis Angela and my little bro Brad are still in Texas. Angela is in Denton and works for Habitat for Humanity and Brad is down in Austin.
