David's Story
On the 10 th og july 2009
My wife died we were only married 4 year but we were blessed with know the lord jesus in our lives.
Here I am some 34 year since that 1st time I steped on to Lindhurst High grounds. Yes , our cloass was the 1st to go all 4 years. I joined groups there like AFJROTC yes was one of them,Drama I did for the last 2 years of my time there I learned alot from the best teacher I knew the amazing Ms Morgan.One year even went to the Shakespearian experiance of Ashland, Origon it change my veiw of many things. I did some athletic things like basebal equipment maniager for the senoirs, and ran cross country.
I left Lindhurst to a future that I was unsure of. Joined the USAF Reserveswas in that just over 1 yr and a half then went active duty. Traveled the world to far off place like Japan, philipeans, Korea,Iceland...Expand for more
,England, Gremany,Italy,and many other places.had many adventures ones I can remember others I can not.I was Injured while on active duty and was never the same. Suffered from the time I was discharge in Dec 1984.It took untill al most 22 yrs to get my VA rating of 100%, which also a 35% for another item but you can only recieve 100%.
This money has helped much in my 3rd marriage to Marla my real st beast friend ever.We now both go to Yuba College just to keep our minds clear and active. This coming Dec 2008,I get to go an a cruise with my familyand my new wife. We never really had a Honey moon, so now i get to treat her to one.for now I am almost 50 in 2010and i just keep living... and now I look forward to some thing happening for the 30 year reunion in 2009.Let us try to get something done and meet and great each other and have fun.
