David's Story
The picture posted is of me and my last child at his high school graduation in 2007. A kind of then and now because he looks a lot like I did in 1971.
I was in band and played trumpet. In case anyone is interested I now live in Baltimore County, Maryland, and I miss all my friends from Houston and Texas. Moved here in 2005 after living 12 years in Lubbock Texas and 3 years in Springfield Missouri before that. I go to New York and to Washington D.C. whenever I can. New York City is cool. I didn't vote for George W. Bush. I have mostly grey to white hair now. Maryland is a pretty state, very lush with deep forests in addition to the famous Chesapeake Bay. It's also horse country and sort of like England in the countryside. People talk kind of funny here, and they think they invented eating crabs and other form...Expand for more
s of seafood. If you ever heard of "Old Bay" seasoning, this is where it originated. Like everyone else, I am older and I am also 4 children wiser. How about you? There has to be many many people out there who have had more interesting lives than me. In fact I bet most have. I never went into the military because my draft number was 365. I was drinking in a bar over in Montrose off S. Shepherd when I heard the news. That was when the legal drinking age was 18 for a few years. I figured that was a sign and that I should do different things. And then, maybe it wasn't. The idea of karma is also cool. Like in the T.V. show "My Name is Earl, I also feel like there may be people that I may have done wrong. I don't think so, but just maybe. Send me an e-mail and let me know if you are one of them. Yours truly, David B.
