David's Story
College
I loved going to the University of Illinois. It's a great, fun school. My wife and I met there when I was a sophomore, and we still get back there once or twice a year as we still have friends in the area. I studied architecture for three years, but then switched to economics. I would have liked to have gone to law school, but as time passed that became less and less attractive. Maybe for my next career I'll pursue that.

artment at Safeco Insurance Company since 1990. The Chicago Office is located in Hoffman Estates, right off of I-90. I started with the company as a claims adjuster, and have held a number of different positions within the claims organization. For the last four years I've been a Region Claims Manager. I currently manage the Northeast Region, including all states north and east of Illinois, and have 400 employees in the region. I often travel to Chicago to our office there.
