David's Story
Life
I remained in the area after high school. Married Debbie Hoppert in 1978. We have 3 children, Julie who is married and living in Xenia, Ohio and working as a casae worker for Greene County Mental Health, she graduated from CMU. Her husband is a professor at Wright State University.; Jennifer who is working for GM Plantworks after she graduated from Toledo; and David Jr. (DJ) who graduated from MHS 2007 and attending Schoolcraft College in the fire academy.

I am involved with Community Health Centers as a voluntee board member. Became President of Board of Directors of Family Medical Center in 1994. ALso sit on the executive committee of the Michigan Primary Care Association and just recently elected to a seat on the National Association of Community Health Centers reperesenting, MI, OH, IN, IL, WI.
Spent 12 1/2 years as a volunteer fire department in LaSalle Township where we have lived since 1981. A two term township trustee as well from 1988-1996.
