David's Story

Life I'm going to start with the most recent. Awhile ago, my wife and I separated. We sold our big house in West Seneca that I didn't really like anyway, and now I own my own smaller house - still in W. Seneca. I live on a busy corner, right next door to a bar - how convenient! Although I never thought I would own waterfront property, I now do. Busy Clinton St. is in the front of the house, and Buffalo Creek is in my backyard. I have a small backyard, then there is a steep slope, and then the water. Beyond that is empty fields for about a half mile, so it looks like a park in my back yard. Very cool. The other big, recent news is that I am a Grampa! I have two adult stepdaughters. The older one got married a couple of years ago, and had a boy. What a great kid. I never thought a grandson could make me so happy, but he does. Luckily, they live about a mile from me, so I get to see them regularly. He turned 4 this year. I really enjoy my lif...Expand for more
e. I take care of my little house, come and go as I please, I have caught up with a bunch of old friends I hadn't seen in years, and spend more time with people that enjoy having a good time. I have gotten more and more into sports as I get older. I am a certified golfnut - I love to play, but am lucky to break 100. Doesn't matter what I shoot, as long as I have fun. My favorite hole is the 19th... I love the Bills and Sabres, but am sometimes a "fair weather fan". In addition, I am a Yankees fan, and love boxing. Watching, not fighting... I am a gym rat. I belong to the BAC, and go all the time. I love to eat and drink, but refuse to get fat, so I work my ass off at the gym so I can eat and drink what I want. I'm in pretty good shape for my age, and I plan to keep it that way. This past summer (2008), I was able to get a great job with the Federal Government. I love my job, and feel like I actually make a difference. Til we meet again. Dave
