David's Story
After graduating from Alabama in ’72 (political science), served in the Army for a couple of years and did some graduate work at Ohio State. Became a wordsmith and pursued that the rest of my career. The Huntsville Times, UAH, Northrop Aircraft, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and UCLA were stops along the way.

he first marriage was short, but the second one is just great. Thirty-one years and counting.
We were retired, but are now raising a grandson. (Just try raising a five-year-old when you are 70.) For fun, when we are not traveling to far-flung places, I lift weights, drink strong coffee, take woodworking classes, avoid trouble, and make furniture in my garage. When our grandson can travel with us, we intend to get back out on the road and see more of the world.
