David's Story
Life
I graduated in 1972 but left town before the commencment cermonies. I also changed my name back to my birth name instead of my step-fathers name which is now Dave Ford. After high school I went to Cal Poly Pomona and got a civil engineering degree. I currently work for the County in Las Vegas reviewing construction plans for the major resorts that they are building here. I have been here for 20 years now and prior to that I worked for the City of Los Angeles reviewing plans for Commercial projects. I do miss the beach and the cooler weather. grown kids my wife died of Hodgkin's Disease 12 years ago after a long fight with it. It is a different place to live here that is for sure. I plan on retiring in about 6 years enough will be enough. And the way it looks there will be no shortage of work to keep me going. After I retire I plan to do consulting for engineers and Architects on a fee basis and only when I want to. If anybody knew me then I was a partier and I guess I still am to some degree. I try to get out of town at least once a month to the beach in Central Cal or Sedona AZ to hike in the Red Rocks there.
