Life
Three years in Sounds of BC, musicals, etc., were the best years of my life! I am forever indebted to Mr. Weiker.
Fall '74 entered BYU as music composition major.
Next semester changed to organ performance and took Semester Abroad to Salzburg, Austria.
'77-'79 served as full-time LDS missionary in Germany.
'81 BMus from BYU in organ performance. Got "feet wet" as pipe organ builder.
'81 Married Jan Thatcher (cute girl with gorgeous singing voice).
'83 Katharine born. She's now student teaching high school choir.
'84 MMus in organ performance at Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY.
'85 returned to Utah t...Expand for more
o work as full-time organ builder with M. L. Bigelow & Co. Still there!
'87 began as organist at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Salt Lake City. Still doing it!
'87 Annalisa born. Now in New York, trying to make it as an actor. Go Annie!
'93 Mark born. Now in 11th grade - popular, talented actor and athlete.
2003 began composing and publishing LDS Hymn Voluntaries, a comprehensive collection of organ pieces based on each LDS hymn.
2006 gave recital on world famous 1714 Silbermann organ in Freiberg, Germany. Jan went with me, which made a nice 25th anniversary for us.
