Karl David's Story
Life (In General):
Life has been good to me since I graduated in '72. I have worked mostly in the health care industry in Emergency Medical Services (both paid and volunteer) for over 30 years with 10 years as an Instructor for the American Heart Association and currently work in a nursing facility taking care of residents ages 23 to 99 (maybe older), who are there because they were sent there by their families who no longer want them or are there due to the nature of their illness/injury.
Where I Reside:
After graduating from Princess Anne, I enlisted in the Navy (of course - what else could be expected of me since I was raised in a Navy family) and went to boot camp in Millington, TN in the U S Naval Air Reserves.
I completed my training and tour of duty and left the Navy. I stayed in Virginia Beach ubtil 1980 and moved to Richmond, VA as part of the Richmond EMS system (at that time covered by private contract) and returned to Virginia Beach 1 year later and remained there until 2005 when I moved to Scioto County, Ohio and reside in the area known as...Expand for more
Lucasville in Jefferson Township. My home is 1 mile from the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility (known as SOCF) and across the street from the Valley Elementary School.
Outside Activities:
When I am not working, I volunteer at my church in Portsmouth (yes, there is another Portsmouth), Ohio as a lighting/recording technician for all services at the church. In addition, I volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol, Ohio Wing in similar jobs that I held while I was attached to the Virginia Wing.
What What Would I Do If I Won $100 Million Dollars:
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to my church, then spend the rest on cruises, cruises and more cruises.
And now for the BIG NEWS:
Yes, I got hooked - in other words, I am now married to a wonderful woman. I am no longer looking for Ms Right - I have found her. We got married on May 14, 2009 in Lucasville, OH. We moved to Waverly, Ohio in Pike County in 2013 and were married for 11 Years and 3 Months until I lost her due to an extended illness (End Stage Renal Disease with dialysis 3x a week for 2 Years).
