Life Happily married to our classmate, Berle Jean Hubbert. We're about to celebrate our 38th anniversary. 2 daughters: Mendy, 37, with 4 children (15, 13, 10, 8), and Marcia, 34, with a new son named Carson. Now Marcia is pregnant again, and grandchild #6 will arrive in July of '08. Retired in 2001. We like to travel & play with grandkids. My health allows a trip every couple of years as long as we take an "old folks tour" - slow pace and plenty of rest. In 1994 my body rebelled against the hours I kept and stress I absorbed, and I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Immune Disfunction Syndrome. We even went to Mayo for 10 days and had every-test-know-to-man run trying to find something treatable, but no luck. I worked another 7 years while tired and sore; much work done from home. Now, I treat symptoms, try to stay active enough to feel alive and rest enough to keep from "crashing". Last travel was in May of 2007, when we revisited Rothenberg, Germany, Salzburg and Innsbruck, Austria, and Lucerne, Switzerland. We're schedul...Expand for more
