More about David:"I am an honest person with a good heart, very active, kind and hard working. I consider myself a triathlete and marathoner. I've competed in Short, Olympic, Half-Ironman, Full-Ironman and Marathons distances. I finally got a chance to compete in 2008, my first Full Ironman in Lake Placid, New York with a respectable time of 12:26:38. I was very happy with the result. I have completed my 7th consecutive Boston Marathon this year, with a new PR of 3:04:46. I love doing them; it's kind of a passion. It's a place where I find myself and lose myself. In any sense, I try to find a sense of meaning in my life and accomplishments. I’m always searching for the next challenge.
I love the outdoors, the forest, the ocean, and the beach. I like sightseeing and traveling to different places and historical sites in New England. I am open to trying new things and explore new places.

I've service in the military for 6 years honorably in the US Army. I service 3 years in the RI Army National Guard-Army Corp of Engineers and another 3 years in the US Army Reserves-Civil Affairs. I'm glad I did it and it was a good experience.
I am a fitness fanatic and love competing in Triathlons and Marathons. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, walks on the beach. I like the movies, shopping, visiting my relatives and friends. I like to write poetry, create art and architectural designs.
I like to travel to different places. I love the ocean; therefore, Cape Cod and Narragansett are my favorite places. My others favorite places are York Beach-Maine, Bristol-NH, Burlington and Island Hero-VT. I love to travel all over New England.
My favorite things are seashells, crystals and gemstones. Music CDs and DVD movies. I love Books, especially historical and fictional novels. I love sports clothing and running sneakers. Artwork, sculptures, paintings and photographs. I like games.

I love my job working for a telecommunication and engineering company. I use to do field and survey work all over New England. Now I am AutoCAD Designer producing construction drawings, petition and schematics plans.
I come from a traditional Portuguese family, I am first generation born here in the USA. My family is important to me and I have a good relationship with them. I am able to speak the Portuguese language fluently with my family and relatives.
I been reading the first book of the Warlord Chronicles called The Winter King: A Novel Of Arthur by Bernard Cornwell. I sometimes scroll thought the Inside Triathlon or Triathlete magazines for local events, articles and equipments.
