Life
Married since 1971, Vickie and I have two adult daughters. My wife Vickie has completed her teaching credential at Cal State Northridge and does occasional substitute teaching. We are living in Valencia CA, just north of LA. We are busy members of a conservative Christian church there. I have been in the broadcasting industry since high school. e big time?? working at KMJ & KNAX-FM before moving over to the tube in 1982. I have worked for ABC, Inc. since 1984. I am now VP & Director of Engineering for the ABC Owned Television Stations in Burbank (dave "dot" s "dot" converse "at" abc "dot" com), after four years running the engineering department at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. I have been involved with projects including a new broadcast center for KABC-TV in LA (Glendale) as well as other projects at KGO-TV in San Francisco and stations in communities as diverse as Flint, Houston and New York City.
