David's Story
It's rather tough to know what to say here, so I'll just got down a thumbnail of 35 years spent since we all graduated together. Any of you that knew me well enough knew that my family owned Tri-County Advertiser since "almost" the day I was born in 1957. When everybody else was leaving school to have fun, I was going to work. No tears here - just fact. I bought out the printing end of the business in 1998 and ran it till 2003, when I just couldn't keep going as a 1-man show. Since then it has been quite an adventure. Since then I have worked at a number of commercial printing facilities, as I currently do. The shifts are not always good but I have always enjoyed and taken pride in what I do. I feel that I have learned a few things over the years. You sure do not have to agree with any of it. A liitle bit of humility is a good thing. Money helps, but sure as hell isn't everything, by a long shot. If you have someone that loves you - really loves you - hold her tightly and make concessions, and never let her go. Outside of that I'm the last person that will suggest any code of conduct.
