David's Story
Life
Hi all. I'm living in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Married with two daughters and one grandaughter. I still have most of my hair but alot more belly. I still enjoy a cold beer. Would enjoy hearing from anyone. I'm in the phone book and on the web.
6/26/2004,
My youngest daughter graduated high school two weeks ago. My oldest daughter had another baby girl last week. I guess I'm well on the way to Geezerhood now.
7-2005,
Both daughters got married within a few weeks of each other. We now have an empty house and are feeling it. Both still live near here so we still get regular visits.

My oldest daughter had another baby on March 18. This one is a boy. That is three now I get to spoil. Life is good.

Sadly, my wife Danica passed away on November 28, 2006 at MCV hospital in Richmond. Post-operative pneumonia and lung cancer were the primary cause. Myself, our daughters, her mother, and her sister were all with her when she passed peacefully. There is a large void in our lives. She will be missed greatly.

Been riding alot lately. Mostly day trips. I don't like to get too far from the Grandkids or my girls. And work of course. I bought a sailboat on Ebay a while back and am almost done fixing her up. She will be ready to go in a few weeks. She will be named "Mental Floss". (You have to be a Buffet fan to understand) I'm looking forward to sailing again.

Things are looking up. There is a new lady who seems to like being around me. She likes all my toys and is learning to ride and sail. She even likes my cats. Since she can already cook she has been granted the title of First Mate.

I'm a bit behind with news. I got married again. It seems to fit me. Anne and I got married on May 25th at the Rolling Thunder celebration. We wanted to do something different and that sounded like it. We had a nice ceremony on the hill overlooking the line-up for the parade. It was a beautiful day and all 300,000+ guests enjoyed it. As an added bonus we didn't have to feed anyone. It was quite a day. Pictures have been posted.
