David's Story
I was ask to do this so here goes - I was in the class of 1968 but because I goof'd off my senior year I really didn't graduate until 1969. I joined the Marine Corps and left the day after graduation. That experience straightned me out - I went to the University of Alabama upon returning home and graduated with honors, who would believe that! After graduation I took a job in Atlanta working in Labor Relations (Human Resources as it's known today). I eventually became the VP of HR with Constar International, a major manufacturer with facilities throughout the USA, Mexico, Canada, and Europe. Along the way I learned to fly opened a flight school and aircraft acquisition company. n aircraft management company. I Later formed DLD Management Group, LLC which is an aircraft managment and aircraft acquisition and consulting company. We manage a fleet of private jets - get to fly some famous people - and we operate throughout the USA, Canada, Central and South America, and of course the Caribbean. It's fun, I'm busy, and life has been good. I personally own two airplanes and some rental homes in Key West and PC. I spend my spare time in Key West for the most part... fishing, diving, etc. I think about GHS and Gadsden often... good times and many good friends... and lot's of people I wish I had taken the time to know better. Funny how we all grow up looking back... I would like to change some but not too much of what I did. Drop me a line, would like to hear from anyone/everyone.
