David's Story
Quit college for a couple of years. Worked in a factory, had fun, got bored, went back to school. Tried a lot of different majors. Was going to teach math, be an organic chemist. Became an optometrist, 23 1/2 years now. Somewhat esoteric, behavioral approach, two published papers. Now studying medical qigong, oldest branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Am Medical Qigong Therapist through International Institute of Medical Qigong. Starting Master's program next month. Amazing stuff. Changed my life. Got a tape in the library, Chi Kung, The Healing Workout, by Jerry Alan Johnson. Opened up a whole new world for me. Never got married, no kids. ...Expand for more
Cats. Like animals. Was going to become a vet, took Latin in 9th grade, but couldn't comprehend demonstratives in 10th, so switched to Spanish. Hope you're all doing well. Peace. Update, Going to China at end of October. Did first two of Master of Medical Qigong classes in January. Renewed my California optometry license. Getting ordained as a Daoist priest at Qing Cheng Shan. Got certified to treat eye disease with medication, and glaucoma in PA. Got ordained, very amazing, Daoism, China. Got physically close to this one Daoist priest, saw into his world: clairsentience. He sensed it, pulled back, looked at me, surprised, big smile on his face.
