David's Story
I guess pappy was right. Time does pass quickly.
Graduation brought the hard worked for collage scholarships in Architecture which were systematically checked out and turned down to do it, my way. I've worked in different aspects of real estate all these years from buying and selling, ownership of rentals, designing and building, rebuilding and repairing and traveling with crews living in motels. I have enjoyed all of it and continue to build when possible.
I have a wonderful wife, Jill, class of Central '76 who is a nurse and mother. Our children are mostly grown with our youngest, Eve, still in High School, class of 2012. The other 6 are scattered around the US with 5 through college and one a carpenter like his dad. Only one grandchild so far.

the mountains. I guess we voted with our feet. After a 2 year study of the Mountain states, and visiting of each, we sold our home near Madison, sold our belongings, quit our jobs, said good-by to our friends and headed West to Colorado where we knew not a soul, nor had a job lined up. We found a place to call home in Montrose, CO. A bit higher in elevation than Denver and on the Western side of the divide. It is a nice place to slow down and smell whatever it is we are supposed to smell when we slow down. I learned to snowboard at Telluride, 1 hour away; have enjoyed fishing in the high mountain streams and am preparing to arrow an elk one of these seasons.
It just recently dawned on me that life might just be getting away from me and that besides my family, it would be nice to have an old acquaintance or more, to keep in contact with. That is why I decided to join Classmates.
