David's Story
Well, as long as I’ve been on the site I’ve resisted putting any personal information out there, however, with social media everything I’m about to say is probably already out there anyways.
After graduation I went to Pratt Institute and earned my Bachelors of Architecture and Masters of Science in Urban Design. During my last year of school I got married and after graduation we moved to Houston. That marriage lasted seven years and once I was divorced I got back in touch with a woman that I had known in elementary school back in Skokie, Illinois. It just so happens that she was also recently divorced and living in New York. We started corresponding and then I went up to New York and decided to move there. That was in 1983. In 1987 we decided to move to Los Angeles to get away from all the snow, and we’ve been here ever since.
After working for 43 years I decided to retire in November 2019. For those of you who haven’t been able to retire yet I highly recommend it, except it doesn’t pay very well.

At the end of my third year at Pratt I came home and told my father that I wanted to transfer my major into photography, but he wouldn’t hear of it and two hours later I came out an architect.
In any event, I hope this little message finds everyone healthy and well. I would look forward to an in-person reunion if this damn virus ever gets under control.
