David's Story
OK, I'll try to do this in 2 paragraphs or less...Started dating Betsy in May 76, graduated, worked at Mullane Ford, and Two Guys, thats all for 1976, attended Teterboro School of Aeronautics, injured my right hand at work, needing several surgeries, I dropped out of TSA, and forgot about joining the USAF because of my hand. Out of the cast and back to work, summer of 78, at Bergenfield Development, a machine shop across the street from home, just to make some money. Married Betsy in June 80, bought our first house in Bergenfield in 83, made it to the 5 and 10 year reunuions. Bounced around from machine shop to machine shop, started work at Innovative Plastics in March 90. Remember my Studebaker? well,I don't have that car anymore, but my wife bought a 60 Lark in 1979, she used it as everyday wheels until 82, then we started using it strictly as a show car, going to "meets" traveling from Florida to Massachusetts to South Bend Indiana (where it was built)collected a lot of trophies, made lots of new and interesting friends. umber 2 came along in 94, this time a boy, DJ,(Donald James) With the arrival of kids, the Studey sat under blankets in the garage. Left Innovative in March 2000, Bounced around from job to job some more, until I started at Interplex, stayed there for 6 years, now, I'm back at Innovative, (Innovative, Interplex, sooo confusing) Suzie is headed to college in September 09 she's hoping for a career as a graphic artist, following in moms footsteps, my son DJ is looking way foreward to a career as a commercial pilot starting with flying first for Uncle Sam. Future plans? well, with the kids, we've been to Disney World so much, that we have reserved parking spots! seriously, Bets and I would love to work for the mouse, she is talented enough to do any job from guest relations to costume design to any type of art, me, I'd really like to be the creepy old guy in the Haunted Mansion that says nothing and stares at people as they board the ride (look for me) but I've poked around and asked enough questions to know that as a machinist, they wouldn't waste my talents. Well thats about it, email me!
