I was born and raised in Gettysburg, PA and attended Meade and Keefauver Elementary Schools, Gettysburg Junior High and Gettysburg Senior High until the middle of my sophomore year when my family moved to Indiana, PA. I attended Indiana Area Senior High School from the fall of 1976 till I graduated in June, 1979. I have two older sisters, Teresa and Cathy. They both also attended the same schools as I, but Teresa finished her senior year in Gettysburg, while Cathy moved with the family to Indiana. They were both in the class of 1977. My oldest sister, Teresa, was married to Jim Shanefelter from Gettysburg, PA for about 20 years and has two sons, Matthew and Adam. She is part of the Executive Management Team at the Wal-Mart on the Outer Banks. My second oldest sister, Cathy, is married to Dennis Little from Creekside, PA and they have 3 children, Dennis II, Ginger and Beth. Cathy is a highly-skilled Political Speech Writer. After high school, I attended DeVry Institute of Technology in Dallas, TX and majored in Electronics Technology. After going to DeVry, I worked there for 2 years as the Lab Supervisor.
