David Green:  

Life Hi! I am David F. Green and I attended Snyder High for only one year(1965-66) my senior year(I attended Lincoln High my three years of high school). Most people remember me as the 'Black gymnastic guy'. Although I was only at Snyder for one year, I was captain of the gymnastic team and our team won the city championships in april of 1966. Later I attended Montclair State College (University now) and became the college's best known gymnast. I was captain of Montclair's team for two years, competed in two NCAA National championships, and was voted Outstanding College Athlete Award two years in row. I earned a BA in Social Studies and taught in the Newark Public schools for the last 35 years. I coached St. Peters Prep varsity gymnatics for two years (1970-72) and then created and coached the Flip City Tumbling Team for 25 years and we earned world wide accolades.
