Enlisted as an E1. Advanced to Chief Petty Officer (E7) in 11 years. Commissioned Chief Warrant Officer (Aviation) at 17 years. Direct commission to Lieutenant at 20 years. I'll have a PreK-6 teaching license (Virginia) in May '06. I've been able to do the 2 things I've wanted to do since 5th grade...fly CG helicopters and teach elementary school.
