You might remember me from being the Spirit Committee Chairman and covering the school with signs that had us beat the Seniors for the Spirit Award when we were Sophomores. We won again as Juniors. I ran for Class President and lost to Paula & Randy (Paula won). But, thanks for your votes. I had a yellow 1971 Mustang Fastback and was very vocal at most all sporting events. I hung out with J.R. Harrelson a lot. I was in yearbook class for most the year (that's a story), wore shorts to school often, won the Hairiest Legs Contest, and was voted most spirited senior. Plus, from most all my yearbook pictures, none of you told me that I needed a haircut! What have I been up to? After RHS, I was attending USF and got a job working at Zales Jewelers. I became a store manager when I was 22 and worked for the Zales Corporation for 12 years. I took over under-performing stores and opened new ones living in Tallahassee, Melbourne, Jacksonville, and finally back to Tampa in 1987. I did get married in 1985 while in Melbourne to someone I met in the business. Wendy are very happily married today with 2 grown daughters. After a 2 year break from retail, I started working for Steve Weintraub at the Gold & Diamond Source in 1989 becoming a store manager, general manager, and was the Vice President for 6 years. I left in 1997 to open our own jewelry business, Kiefer Jewelers, and we currently own 3 jewelry stores around the Tampa Ba...Expand for more
