David's Story
School
I never understood what a "late bloomer" was until I turned 40. On Valentine's Day 2001 I quit my day job as General Manager of a flooring company and set out to become a freelance writer. Three years later I'm still doing it and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
As far as what I've been doing since high school, I went to college at Whitman in Walla Walla, graduating with a BA in Music in 1983. I toured with a band for a couple of years, met and married my wife in 1986, taught piano lessons to eke out a living, then with our first child on the way in 1988 I went to work for Bonneville Power Administration in their computer department.

of years, and another child, an environmental services company based in Denver offered me a job, so we moved to Colorado. One child and two jobs later, we moved back to the Pacific Northwest, so my oldest boy (16) could attend the Tacoma School of the Arts, where I am a part time teacher.
I primarily make my living ghostwriting, but I have written several screenplays and hope to sell something this year. We'll see.
For those of you who care, I'm still a Christian as is my family, but I have been on an interesting journey with the Author of my faith for the past three years or so. Sometime when you've got a couple of hours, I'll tell you about it over coffee.
